Hi! I am Tetyana. I am a Toronto-based academic editor and private tutor. My job mostly entails providing academic support to (awesome) high-school, undergraduate, and graduate students. It is a ton of fun.

I have an MSc in Medical Science, with a focus on neuroscience and molecular genetics, and an Honours BSc in Neuroscience, both from the University of Toronto. I used to work with worms (C. elegans), but now I work with words (and people); I like this more.

When I am not editing or tutoring, I can usually be found outside–biking or walking. I am a big fan of long walks (and hikes!), visual art (especially art created between the 1860s and 1930s), and creative nonfiction (think Harper’s Magazine).

I also dig em dashes, semicolons, and serial commas.
